The Orange County Central Jail located in Santa Ana California is the largest jail in Orange County. The facility is sometimes refered as the "Men's Central Jail" or "Women's Central Jail". All inmates booked into the OC Central Jail are eligible to be released on bail or bond, unless specified by a warrant, court order or bail schedule. The bail schedule is established pursuant to the Uniform Bail Procedures Committee and approved by the judges of the Superior Court of California, County of Orange. If you choose not to post a bail bond for the defendant he or she will then be awaiting there arraignment date at the Orange County Superior Court that it has been assigned to. This is typically 2 business days after they are arrested. From that point it is up to the court as to when the defendant may be released or sentanced for a longer period.
